Yes! Univox is currently free to use. You can access all features, including translation and voice cloning, at no cost.

You record a short sample of your voice (30-60 seconds). We use ElevenLabs' AI to create a digital model of your voice. Then, when you translate text, the app generates audio that sounds like you speaking the target language. You can delete your voice clone at any time.

Univox uses powerful cloud-based AI models (OpenAI and ElevenLabs) that are too large to run directly on your phone. This ensures you get the most accurate translations and natural-sounding voices possible.

The overlay feature (Android Only) creates a floating window over other apps like WhatsApp or YouTube. This allows you to translate conversations or videos instantly without switching apps. You'll need to grant the "Display over other apps" permission.

Yes. We use enterprise-grade encryption. Your translation audio is processed in real-time and NOT stored permanently. Your voice clone model is stored securely by ElevenLabs and can be deleted by you at any time.
