TERMS OF SERVICE & COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

1. INTRODUCTION
This Terms of Service and Community Code of Conduct (hereinafter referred to as the "Code") constitutes a binding framework of behavioral, ethical, and legal standards that govern the use of the Univox mobile application and platform. It is applicable to all users.
By accessing or using Univox, you confirm that you have read, understood, and fully accepted this Code, and you agree to adhere to it in all your activities on the platform. Failure to comply may result in sanctions, including account suspension or termination, legal action, and notification of relevant authorities.
Univox is committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and ethical environment for cross-language communication and AI voice technology.
2. ZERO TOLERANCE FOR ABUSIVE CONDUCT
Univox has a strict zero-tolerance policy for abusive, harmful, or dangerous behaviors. The following are explicitly prohibited, whether in text, audio, or translated content:
- Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, or age.
- Harassment, intimidation, bullying, or incitement to violence.
- Sexual harassment, suggestive behavior, or unwanted advances.
- Threats of any kind, including implied threats and veiled aggression.
- Glorification or promotion of violence, self-harm, suicide, or harmful ideologies.
- Sexually explicit, pornographic, or adult-oriented content generated or transmitted via the app.
- Promotion, sale, or distribution of illegal products, substances, or services (including weapons, drugs, etc.).
Violation of these provisions results in immediate and permanent suspension and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement authorities.
3. VOICE CLONING ETHICS & IDENTITY
To ensure trust and prevent the misuse of AI technology (Deepfakes), users must strictly adhere to the following:
- Consent Requirement: You may strictly ONLY clone your own voice. Cloning the voice of another person without their explicit, written, and verifiable consent is prohibited.
- No Impersonation: You strictly verify that you will not use voice cloning to impersonate public figures, celebrities, politicians, or any individual without their permission for the purpose of deception, fraud, or defamation.
- Authentic Identity: Users must use their real identity (verified via Google Account) and avoid creating fake accounts or operating multiple accounts to manipulate the platform.
Univox uses technical measures to detect unauthorized voice cloning and reserves the right to request identity confirmation.
4. DATA PRIVACY & GDPR COMPLIANCE
Univox fully complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all applicable privacy legislation.
Users are strictly forbidden from:
- Sharing another user's personal data (email, phone number, recordings) without their informed and explicit consent.
- Engaging in doxxing, unauthorized exposure, or distribution of sensitive information.
- Harvesting data through bots, scraping, or other technical means.
5. CHILD SAFETY & MINOR PROTECTION
Univox is a professional tool intended for adults only (18+). Any attempt to exploit, influence, manipulate, or engage in inappropriate contact with minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities without exception.
- Any sexually suggestive or manipulative behavior toward minors is strictly forbidden.
- Content involving children in inappropriate or suspicious contexts is not tolerated.
6. FRAUD, SPAM, AND MANIPULATION
Users must not:
- Post repetitive, irrelevant, or unsolicited promotional content (spam).
- Distribute malicious links, phishing attempts, or software containing malware.
- Use the translation service to generate fraudulent communications or scams.
All such behavior is monitored and may result in shadow banning, content removal, or account deletion.
7. SERVICE FEES & PAYMENTS
Univox is currently provided for free. TECHMINDS SOLUTIONS S.R.L. reserves the right to introduce fees or subscription plans for certain features (such as advanced voice models or unlimited translation) in the future. Any such changes will be communicated clearly within the app.
8. REPORTING & ENFORCEMENT
Univox encourages users to report harmful or suspicious behavior, especially misuse of AI voice technology, via email to: contact@artbyte.ro
All reports are reviewed confidentially by trained moderation personnel. False or abusive reports may lead to penalties for the reporting user.
9. SANCTIONS & PENALTY STRUCTURE
Univox enforces a tiered system of consequences based on the severity of violations:
- Formal warning (issued once only).
- Temporary restriction of access or voice features.
- Account suspension for a defined period.
- Permanent account ban and IP restriction.
- Legal escalation and notification of authorities where applicable.
Repeat violations result in permanent removal without appeal. Univox reserves the right to exercise discretion based on situational factors.
10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. AI translations and voice generation may not be 100% accurate. Do not rely on this app for critical medical, legal, or safety communications. TECHMINDS SOLUTIONS S.R.L. is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.
11. CONTACT & LEGAL
This Code of Conduct is a binding supplement to Univox's core Terms. In case of legal dispute, the most restrictive and protective clause shall apply.
